This is one of the best things I’ve ever made! It came out so perfect.

The pattern is a variation of two kinds of zizag shibori stitched rows repeated down the whole length of the scarf and pulled up super tight (many hours of careful sewing!)

The piece is a beautiful Japanese crinkle linen (it’s the material Bryan sends out for his Mokume shibori scarf homework).

I dipped in 12 times in super strong Japanese indigo and the piece had some serious bashing to get the loose indigo off!

It’s also super wide and long and can be styled in so many ways.

It’s a one off and a real statement piece.
