e-gasuri is also known as picture kasuri and shows larger woven motifs.

It is more complicated to make than a repeating pattern kasuri (although some of those are pretty fancy too!)

This piece has a nice dark indigo patch behind and was very likely from a nice quality yukata (sumemr weight kimono).

The curved mend is very neatly applied with tiny stitches.
