This vintage kimono silk loop scarf is a bit of a special one as the pattern has been created using a Katazome stencil.

Stencilling is more traditionally applies to cottons with indigo so one on a lovely raw silk and in two colours is rare to see.

Its a stylised flower and leaf pattern with arabesques in red and white on a charcoal grey background

It works well either as single or doubled loop and can be worn as a pull through scarf too.
