There’s more to this vintage kimono silk loop scarf than meets the eye!

The soft black kimono silk has a woven Chrysanthemum pattern; the sprays of delicate flowers are actually shibori resist dyed an painted afterwards one at a time in pale pink, pale green or left the original cream of the silk.

It’s super and it drapes really nicely too. It can be worn as a simple loop, doubled up and zhuzhed to sit just right or pulled thru and tucked in (or not)
