This kit is for attendees of the residential Creative Experiences workshops with Rob Jones from Romor Designs.

The kit is suitable for use with Moyozashi and Kugurizashi sashiko embroidery.

IMPORTANT!

For the workshop it is advised to buy two of these kits, one for the Moyozashi sashiko class and one for the Kugurizashi class. I would get one with white and one with cream thread to maximise colour choices.

NOTE: If you buy two kits as suggested you will automatically be sent one white and one cream thread. Just select either colour when making your purchase and I will do the rest.

The kit comprises:

• One white and one black cotton tote bag

• One piece of sandpaper (all will be explained at the workshop!)

• One colour soluble ink fabric marker pen and one white fabric marker pen (white pen not shown in pics)

PLEASE NOTE: It is advised that you bring extra pens to the class!

• A sashiko needle

• Either white or cream sashiko thread

• Two further sashiko threads in a selection of colours

PLEASE NOTE: The colour options shown are for guidance only. You will receive two complementary colours to go with the white or cream thread. These will be suitable for stitching on the white or black tote bag. If you have a strong preference for colours please email me.

I will endeavour to send you the colours you have chosen or the nearest equivalent but this will be dependent on available stock.

I reserve the right to swap your sashiko thread for an Aurifil cotton floss (higher value) if necessary.

PLEASE NOTE: Sashiko patterns will be provided at the workshops. If you are unable to attend and have purchased a kit, please email me and I will send you the patterns electronically.
